In order to have a strong foundation to your business, you need to have brand consistency. You need to establish trust with your ideal clients so they know you are the right person to solve their problem. To become the go-to person, I have put together my top three steps to increase your brand consistency!
Clarity
You need to be crystal clear on who you are serving and what they are needing from you.
Who is your ideal client? Be overly descriptive. Chances are that they are the same person you were not too long ago. How old are they? Are they male or female? Are they struggling with their message? Are they lacking the confidence they need to pursue their dreams?
Being able to identify who you are trying to help, will ensure you are able to find them once you go looking.
But finding them will mean nothing if you are not clear on the transitional path you are trying to take them on. How are you going to help them? What will they gain by working with you? Determine what this transitional path looks like and get that foundation set! There are multiple ways you can deliver your content, you can do 1 on 1 sessions, courses, workshops, events, etc.
Brand Image
Close your eyes and imagine some of the commercials you see on TV, on YouTube, ads on Facebook. They all have one thing in common. These brands determine what they want their brand to look like when a person thinks of them and they stick with that theme.
Some brands place their commercials in a call center with a man in tan khakis and a red t-shirt.
Some brands feature their top selling cheeseburger so you crave the hell out of it.
They know what their message is and they ensure that all of their content includes the same colors, the same catchy tunes, the same type of images. We crave their products when we see their ads.
Doing this same method in your business will have people lining up out the door to work with you.
Consistency
In order to be seen, you need to put yourself out there. You need to put your content out into the world.
No one will fall in love with you and what you do unless they know what you are doing.
Post on social media regularly. Post that blog. Do that live video!
Putting yourself through a few minutes of uncomfort will pay off in the end when you see your business is growing. You will gain followers, you will become trusted, you will become UNFORGETTABLE!
