Over the years, I’ve found that a lot of entrepreneur struggle to position themselves and their business correctly online so they can attract they ideal clients. How do I know this? Because I used to struggle with this as well. When you are able to attract your ideal clients, it separates you from your competition and increases the credibility of your business with your followers. When building your brand, there are simple steps you can take to build a strategy that will increase brand credibility as well as elevate your brand.
Here are a few things you can do to attract your ideal clients and place your services in front of the right people.
Be crystal clear on who you are here to help
If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you’ve heard this several times: You cannot serve everybody. Without a precise target audience, you will be talking to everybody and nobody. Once you have your target audience niched down, you will want to have 3-5 topics that your posts will revolve around. Typically, the less categories you have in your content, the better. Part of having a client avatar helps you hone in on what they are feeling, what they enjoy and what problems they need the most help with.
Being able to create content that speaks to them, will draw them to your social media and your website. Knowing where your clients are at and where they want to be is a transformational roadmap that you get to take them on. With your experiences and knowledge, you will help them get there.
Build a strong brand that helps you stand out
Yes, engagement with your audience is important. Yes, being consistent with images, fonts and colors are important. But the most important aspect is being yourself. You are your brand and being yourself always win. It is so important that your audience gets to know you, gets to see your journey.
Something in your journey that kicked your butt, may help your ideal client in their struggles. Expressing your trials and triumphs through storytelling will not only captivate your followers but guide them through similar experiences they may have. It’s easy to forget that there are BILLIONS of people on this earth and most experiences aren’t unique. With the right storytelling and relationship building, your ideal client will undoubtedly feel like you are the right person to help them.
Be consistent with your online presence
You want quality over quantity with your posts, however, make it a point to engage with your followers at least an hour every day during the week. You want to show that you don’t just post and then disappear off of social media. I’m not saying that you need to dedicate yourself to building relationships 24/7 but showing up and building these relationships will ensure that your follower list increases!

Build great relationships
I’m sure you’ve heard that your network is your net worth. This is also true when building a business online. Your network will speak for you. Your network will recommend your services. It is your job to build and maintain great relationships on and off line.
Other ways to engage with your audience online, is by liking, commenting and researching hashtags in your niche. Do you engage with the comments on your page? Your audience will feel seen and valued when they see that notification pop up stating you’ve left a comment. Doing this builds priceless trust! But this isn’t all that you should be doing…Hashtags are EVERYWHERE. If you aren’t researching your hashtags to get your posts in front of the right audience, you definitely need to start! Not only does that help with reach, but you can see the other posts labeled with the same hashtag. Click on a post and read the caption, if it resonates with you and you can provide value to the person posting or even some of their followers, leave your two cents and make a new connection!
